Will genealogy sites help solve open cases?
A jury on Tuesday found a man charged with raping and murdering a woman in Iron Range, Minnesota 36 years ago. Resurrected by a genealogy database analyst.

Investigators obtained his DNA sample from Carbo and it matched, officials said. Carbo was 18 at the time of the crime, lived less than a mile from the crime scene, and attended school with the Daugherty children.
After Carbo's arrest, Daugherty's daughter Gina said in her statement: She misses her love and guidance.
Carbo faces life in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for September 30th.
