Rams’ Bobby Wagner, Takk McKinley destroy ‘Monday Night Football’ streaker

A streaker on Monday Night Football took his life into his own hands.

A man went streaking during the second quarter of the “Monday Night Football” game between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams at Levi’s Stadium, and he got absolutely demolished by Rams defenders Bobby Wagner and Takk McKinley.

While it wasn’t shown by cameras on the main ESPN telecast, Joe Buck made an allusion to the hit in his commentary by saying the two defenders had “had enough.”

The “Manningcast” on ESPN2, however, showed the hit.

“We should be able to show that!” Peyton Manning declared.

His wish was the producers’ demand.

The streaker ran across the field and got pancaked.

“That’s what we’re talking about! Wagner! A veteran … Get him down, get out, and let these guys [the security] take over,” Peyton said.

“Amateur hour there,” Eli Manning added. “If you’re gonna streak, you gotta go full-throttle and go nude, right? I mean, what is this?”

It is not unprecedented for NFL players to step in and end the runs of idiots on the field. This past January, Stefon Diggs leveled a fan during a playoff game between the Bills and Chiefs.

Elsewhere in sports, a Dodgers ball girl took down a fan in Los Angeles who was running across the field with a devastating tackle.
