Rihanna may be going on tour after Super Bowl 2023 performance

The music industry is abuzz with rumors that Rihanna is going on tour after her highly anticipated Super Bowl LVII performance.

Three sources tell Page Six they have heard rumblings about the “Work” singer hitting the road later this year, but any semblance of plans is being kept under lock and key.

“There has been a lot of talk among people in the know, especially in the last week or two, that Rihanna is gearing up to announce a tour,” one insider shares. “It seems to be more than just hearsay at this point.”

A second source tells us, “Even some members of Rihanna’s team have been kept in the dark. It’s all a big secret, from the details of her halftime show to what’s next — if anything.”

Reps for Rihanna and Live Nation did not respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

It would be the Fenty Beauty founder’s first tour since 2016, when she took her “Anti” album to three continents and performed 75 shows.

The chatter comes on the heels of superstar artists like Beyoncé, Madonna and Taylor Swift unveiling their plans to tour this summer.

Rihanna — who has been teasing new music for years without sharing any insight into its release date — announced last September that she would be headlining the Super Bowl halftime show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., on Feb. 12.

Her makeup artist, Priscilla Ono, recently told Page Six Style exclusively that the “Diamonds” singer, 34, is going to have an “iconic” and “super timeless” look when she takes the stage.

As for the production, Ono told us, “Seeing everything come to life is so cool. I’ve actually been going to rehearsals and watching everything, so everything kind of inspires me.”
