Seagull tries to rip out man’s tongue: ‘Bro are you crazy — that’s not a dove’

Gull got your tongue?

A man’s attempt to tease a seagull backfired terribly after the angry bird nearly ripped out his tongue. A video of the literal tongue-lashing is currently blowing up online.

The incident was set in motion after a restaurant worker picked up the bird in an unknown part of Turkey, CEN reported.

In the jaw-dropping footage, the unidentified bird brain can be seen clutching the seagull in his hands as he taunts the poor critter while a young boy looks on. However, his teasing session goes south after he sticks his tongue at the bird — which it appears to take umbrage at.

In an instant, the furious featherbag grabs his lollipop licker in its beak and tries to yank it out, causing the boy and videographer to guffaw hysterically.

Luckily, he was able to jump out of the way in the nick of time before the bird could give him his full tongue-uppance. The clip concludes with the bewildered fellow shaking his head and placing dropping his prisoner back on the pavement, before vacating the scene.

Unsurprisingly, the dunderhead became a laughingstock on Turkish social media.

“Bro are you crazy? That’s a f–king seagull, not a dove,” exclaimed one incredulous commenter, while another wrote. “You’re lucky to get your tongue bitten, man. It could have gouged your eyeball out.”

Meanwhile, one armchair ornithologist advised, “You shouldn’t have opened your mouth wide like that, it thought you were some kind of animal trying to eat it.”

“Guy literally got upset with the seagull, lol,” another chimed in.

This isn’t the first time someone has been savaged by a seagull.

A UK woman befriended a wild gull during the COVID pandemic, only to have the bird turn on her, trashing her home and biting her nose in November. Meanwhile, in other viral video news, a “King Kong” monkey infamously attacked a seagull in March — and animal lovers shared online outrage after seeing footage of manhandled a “fry-jacking” seagull last year in New Zealand.

Not to be outdone, a man on drugs was arrested in 2020 for biting a seagull after it tried to steal his Big Mac. Other “snatched” items include a child’s cookie and a bag of chips.
