A solar explosion predicted to fire towards Earth today destroys a magnetic field

Just another manic Sunday.

A sun explosion on Sunday could grab the Earth on Thursday and destroy the magnetic fields of today's planets.

"A slow-moving CME [Coronal Mass Ejection] that left the Sun on June 26 may pass near the Earth today,"Spaceweather.comrecommends. Please read. Solar phenomena of unknown origin were captured by the European Space Agency using a tool called computer-aided CME tracking (CACTus).BGR reported.

Coronal mass ejections [CME]occur when a large amount of plasma is emitted from the outer layer of the Sun, called the corona. The Earth uses its magnetic field to repel eruptions of these mass particles, much like intergalactic missile flares. According to

Spaceweather.com, if the aforementioned "near miss" occurs, it "may disturb the magnetic field of the planet and generate aurora at high latitudes." "Bright displays are unlikely, but almost the new moon allows for long photo exposures to capture faint light."

It may sound apocalyptic, but the aurora is basically empty, the most famous example of which is the aurora,The sun reported. These sun fireworks displays occur when the solar wind collides with the Earth's magnetic field, creating stunning green and blue displays in the sky.

If a solar event could actually break the magnetosphere, it could cause everything from power grid problems to radio outages. Earlier this month, the size of a giant sunspot namedAR3038 doubled and pointed to Earth. This issued a warning that it could cause major solar flares that could cause a major radio outage.

In the more positive solar news, the NASA satellite is the moon moment. Spaceweather.com reported that it passed in front of the Sun on Wednesday, creating a partial solar eclipse that can only be seen from space. The passage lasted only about 35 minutes while the moon covered about 67% of the surface of the sun at its peak.
