(CNN)Some of the solar-powered patio umbrellas sold exclusively at Costco ignited. After that, it was recovered in the United States and Canada, officials said.

"Lithium-ion batteries in umbrella solar panels can overheat and pose a risk of fire and burns," CPSC said. The
umbrella was sold at Costco's warehouse and online for $ 130- $ 160 from December 2020 to May 2022, CPSC said.

Customers should stop using umbrellas, remove solar panel packs (parts containing lithium-ion batteries), store them away from the sun and away from combustibles, and do not charge the pack with AC. Adapter, CPSC says. Umbrellas can be returned to Costco's warehouse for a full refund.
