There was a bit of heat between the Jets and Falcons on Friday during the team's joint practice at Gang Green's headquarters.
"Our defense, their offense — it's a little skirmish," said Jets coach Robert Saleh. "We were able to calm it down and have a productive practice."
There were some jostling games between the Jets' defensive line and the Falcons' offensive line. A bigger fight then broke out with Jets defensive lineman Bradley Anae throwing punches at the Falcons players. The two sides were pulled away and practice was suspended while the coach spoke to the team.
"It was fine," Falcons coach Arthur Smith told reporters. "You'll have it all the time. It's like playing a little peacock when people are running around each other. Nothing."

"I am We all know the Navy SEALs are obsessed and I have a lot of respect for them,” Saleh said. “They talk about fight or flight. No one flees or fights until they have achieved 40% of their ability. The 40% is different for each person. When I feel like I'm only using 40% of what I'm capable of, and I'm able to do more than 60%, I have to go to dark places to get into it, and the darker it gets, the more I can do it.
