Tensions rise at joint practice between Jets and Falcons

There was a bit of heat between the Jets and Falcons on Friday during the team's joint practice at Gang Green's headquarters.

A bigger fight then broke out with Jets defensive lineman Bradley Anae throwing punches at the Falcons players. The two sides were pulled away and practice was suspended while the coach spoke to the team.

"It was fine," Falcons coach Arthur Smith told reporters. "You'll have it all the time. It's like playing a little peacock when people are running around each other. Nothing."

Surrey said of the Falcons 's second-year tight end Kyle had these nice words to say about his Pitts. That's exactly what you look like. He's going to be a dynamic footballer for a long time."

No one flees or fights until they have achieved 40% of their ability. The 40% is different for each person. When I feel like I'm only using 40% of what I'm capable of, and I'm able to do more than 60%, I have to go to dark places to get into it, and the darker it gets, the more I can do it. Rookie CB Source Gardner made his first interception in training camp on Friday. That was from his former college teammate and Cincinnati rookie quarterback Desmond his ridder.
