Andrew "Drew" Taggart of The Chainsmokers claims the Atlanta rapper punched him after kissing his MC on the cheek at a party recently.
"T.I. Taggart, 32, claimed on Tuesday in a video posted on the group's TikTok page that it doesn't work."
"And he said, 'Don't do that.' It was like, 'bad,'" continued Taggart.
"He punched me in the face. I said, 'Okay, I'm sorry.' It was a strange exchange.”
I went on to accept my part in the fiasco, saying, "T.I. is completely right here. The vibe was so strong I felt like I kissed T.I. It's totally fine."
Some fans defended the songwriter, with one comment stating, "You're just happy with your sexuality, and you've got a slap on your cheek." There's nothing wrong with kissing 😘 🥰," he commented.
But some believe it was not the right move No consent To.
"Boundaries!!! You can't kiss people without their consent, my boy, you know better! lol😘," wrote one follower, while another wrote, "TI cheeks What kind of atmosphere was it that made you think it was okay to kiss 😂😂?” she added.
The next day, T.I. – real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. — is Instagram briefly discussed the subject and invited them both to his podcast, Expeditiously.
"I'm not going to say anything negative. We've had to work on some things. You know what I mean? We're in a much better place." I got there,” explained the 41-year-old T.I. "I have nothing but good things to say about them. I won't go into details, but I love The Chainsmokers." We had our drinks, took our shots and moved on. I like The Chainsmokers.
