Million Ants (Tom Kenny), Alan Rails (Lance Reddick), and Supernova (Gillian Jacobs) were part of a twisted love triangle. And the supernova eventually killed her lover and tried to kill the old man and the child as part of his desire to maintain the galaxy's belief in the Bindicators. It's definitely a dark ending, but it also claims that Rick had the worst results with this super-powerful team.

But it's exactly this system that makes nifty manipulators thrive, like supernovae and Vance Maximus. What remains is the disturbing reality that a true villain is lifted as a hero. I was almost relieved to learn that the team was slaughtered by a series of elaborate traps.
When "Vindicators 3" was first released, it stood as a ridiculous spoofing episode about superhero culture. Now the idea is pushed to its darkest limits. For Rick and Mortyfans, theVindicators2is worth a look. Yes, it's unforgettable. But it also reminds me that Super Nova still exists in this world, and she's scary.
