The Yankees didn't hit the Astros as the attack wasted Gerrit Cole's gems with a shutout loss.

Yankees will be the third team in baseball this Saturday afternoon when Astros throws a combination of no-hitters behind Christian Javier's seven shut-out innings. I did.

Javier defeated 13 Yankees on the 115th pitch before Dusty Baker took him away for Hector Nellis in the 8th inning. Nellis worked in and out of trouble and walked two hitters before leaving the inning. Ryan Presley concludes it ninth to give Houston a 3-0 victory at the stadium.

The defeat is that the Yankees have won 15 consecutive wins at home and then lost to the Astros twice in a row. Their record drops to 52-20 prior to Sunday's series finale. The Astros were the last team to hit the Yankees, hit behind six pitchers in 2003.

The two runs in Houston were J.J. The seventh is Matijevic and the eighth is Jose Altube. Gerrit Cole allowed one run in 7 innings.
