Cleveland — Manny Bañuelos will meet the Yankees again from across the field.
The Yankees considered cash by exchanging left-handed players for pirates on Sunday two days before the two teams started the series in Pittsburgh.

Yankees' former top prospect and eventually 10 teams Bañuelos in the year Thenwas assigned to the assignment last Tuesdayafter posting 2.16 ERA in four appearances from the bullpen. He has been removed from his list to make room for JP Sears, who came to make a spot start for athletics.
Manager Aaron Boone wanted the Yankees to be able to maintain Banuelos, but instead he joins the rebuilding Pirates team.
