Zelensky calls nuclear plant shelling a global concern

Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelensky said in his daily speech late Thursday that "another Russian A shot was recorded," he said.

"No one else has used nuclear power plants to threaten the whole world so plainly," said Zelensky. "And absolutely everyone in the world should react immediately and expel the occupiers from the territory of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant. This is not just a Ukrainian need, it is a global concern."[7] }

Ukraine and Russia have accused each other of shelling nuclear power plants.

"This facility must not be used as part of a military operation," said UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in a statement. "Instead, we need an urgent agreement at the technical level on a safe perimeter of demilitarization to ensure regional security." He said he met with Chef Jose Andrés, founder of World Central Kitchen, an international humanitarian organization that provides meals to people in countries affected by disasters.

"From the first day of all-out war by Russia against our country, his organization began working for immigrants on the border with Poland," said Zelensky. “Since then, we have launched operations in many Ukrainian cities. … More than 130 million meals have been prepared for our citizens.” As a development, the ship is expected to dock in Ukraine on Friday, where it is expected to load 23 tonnes of grain. Ukraine's Minister of Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kublakov, tweeted that the ship brought grain to Ethiopia and loaded it with food, bringing the number of ships that have left Ukrainian ports to 14.
