Cape Town - The Bulls have easily beaten the Lions 48-27 in their Super Rugby encounter at Loftus Versveld on Saturday.

Defeat means that the Lions, finalist for three years running in Super Rugby won't make the knock-out stages of the competition.

The Bulls, who outscored the Lions by 7 tries to 2 now travel to New Zealand to take on the Hurricanes, while the Sharks will take on the Brumbies, also away from home.
