Brazil makes history with its new-style G20 meeting approach - a three-day public gathering that started on nov 14th in Rio. Mauro Vieira‚ the countrys foreign minister says they expect about 40k participants from different G20 nations to join discussions
The meeting takes place in two main spots (both recently fixed-up): the old port area warehouses and the high-tech Museum of Tomorrow. Its the first time a host country opens up pre-G20 talks to regular people; making the whole thing less formal and more connected to everyday folks
The main G20 meeting - where top leaders talk about money trade and other big stuff - starts right after this public forum on nov 18th. Brazil wants to show that listening to normal people can help make better choices for everyone: thats why they made this new kind of meeting happen first
