Fellows participating in the 2023 United Nations Reham al-Farra Journalism Fellowship met with President of the 78th Session of the U.N. General Assembly Dennis Francis, of Trinidad and Tobago, on Sept. 15. Deandre Williamson, a journalist from The Bahamas was selected to participate in this fellowship. A total of 12 fellows were selected and they come from diverse geographical backgrounds that straddle the Caribbean, Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and Southeast Asia.
