Amélie Champagne's decision to end her life after unsuccessfully seeking treatment became a focus of public attention.
The Quebec coroner’s office announced on Tuesday that an inquest will be held into the suicide on Sept. 11 of 22-year-old Amélie Champagne, whose decision to end her life after unsuccessfully seeking treatment for Lyme disease in Quebec became a focus of media and public attention.
The inquest will be headed by coroner Julie-Kim Godin. The date of the proceeding has yet to be determined.
