Editorial: Energy Security and Political Opportunism

Michigan courts again ruled international law ruled in favor of energy security and against political opportunism.

Last week, District Court Judge Janet Neff shut down Michigan Gov. I declined the offer to take it to court.

The court concluded that Michigan attempted to "gain an unfair advantage through improper use of the judicial system," Neff said in the ruling.

Large swaths of Europe are experiencing a severe cold spell as Russia threatens to cut gas supplies in retaliation for Western sanctions.

Don't let that happen here. Canada is a country rich in resources, but those resources are constantly undermined by political parochialism. Joe Biden, in his first act after taking office as president, destroyed another critical energy link, the Keystone XL crude oil pipeline.

This cannot continue. We cannot allow naive politicians to base important energy decisions on vulgar and politically selfish decisions.
