The 6-foot-2-inch, 205-pound Silz is unlikely to become a CFL superstar, and may not even develop into a franchise quarterback at this stage of his career. But he has proven more than capable of managing a game, is a decent runner and doesn't usually make impulsive decisions that cost his team. He passed for a season-high 281 yards in the NBA, then threw for 212 yards and scored two touchdowns against Toronto.
