RENO, NV (AP) — A Nevada judge seeks to reverse his loss to Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo, a Republican dismissed Joey Gilbert's lawsuit. Republican gubernatorial primary.

A former boxer who enjoyed support from the far-right Republican Party, he campaigned on the false claim that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump, but Lombardo never did.
Gilbert's lawsuit, filed last month in state district court in Carson City, was based largely on mathematical formulas and algorithms, with results certified by every county in the state being erroneous.
Gilbert said earlier this month that he would never allow Lombardo a primary. He argued that his challenge to results was not about his defeat but about the integrity of the election as a whole.

Heller was Nevada's Secretary of State in 1998 when he oversaw the most famous recount in Nevada's electoral history. The recount saw Democratic Senator Harry Reid defeat Republican John Ensign by 428 votes behind him in a recount that lasted six weeks from Election Day.
