In a last-minute push before election day Kamala Harris hit-out at House Speaker Mike Johnson over semi-conductor funding while campaigning in Milwaukee (its important to note that Johnson later changed his position saying theyʼd just streamline the program)
Harris made stops in multiple battle-ground states including Georgia and North-Carolina‚ while Donald Trump focused on NC and surprisingly Virginia. Meanwhile ex-president Joe Biden who stepped back from the race last summer made one final stop in his home-town Scranton PA to support the democratic campaign
The CHIPS Act became a hot-topic as it brings jobs to key states: Harris pointed out that manufacturing went down during Trumps previous term. In Milwaukee a reporter accidentally called Harris “Madam President“ making her smile and say “three days“
Supporters from both sides showed their dedication. The Pittmans drove 4hrs from Alabama to see Harris in Atlanta while discussing some concerns:
- Young black men leaning towards Trump
- Some voters hesitation about female leadership
- Mixed feelings in traditional republican circles
At a Trump event in Michigan Nick Chakur a retired cop said turnout would decide everything while Stephanie Tanzini planned an election-night party with snacks (shes sure Trump will win big)
