The transition teams spokesperson confirmed that several high-ranking appointees faced life-threatening situations; their family members were also affected during a 24-hour period. The incidents happened during mid-week – targeting people whoʼd been picked for top-level positions in the upcoming administration
Law-enforcement officials didnt share specific details about which nominees were targeted or if any threats seemed real.
