Hundreds in SA ushered into hotel quarantine amid winery exposure site

A Barossa winery is one of the newest exposure sites in South Australia as health authorities work to move more than 100 people linked to super-spreader events into quarantine hotels. Close contacts from the Tenafeate Creek winery and Greek on Halifax restaurant were ushered to quarantine hotels in Adelaide on Thursday night in a large logistical operation. More than four thousand people have been ordered into two weeks of quarantine over 14 cases of community transmission. But close contacts highly likely to be infected have had to wait of up to twelve hours at some drive-in clinics, making complying with directives almost impossible. But the Adelaide Airport testing site has had abnormally short wait times of just 40 minutes.
