Rare find in the heart of Mosman

Buyers are lining up to get a look at a rare one-bedroom home that looks more like a mini semi than an apartment.

Within days of being launched to the market, 2/145 Raglan St, Mosman, had been viewed more than 1250 times on the realestate.com.au site.

Meet the ‘prettiest house in the street’

And in the first week, Jaqui Rowland-Smith, of Di Jones Mosman, took almost 70 groups through the charming one-bedroom apartment.

“I’ve never seen anything like it,” she said. “It feels like a little house. Everyone walks in and says wow.”

The north-facing garden apartment has 115sqm, which includes 56sqm of internal space, two courtyards and a carport, accessed from the rear lane.

“It’s in the heart of the action with the bus at the door, and it faces north, which is fabulous,” Ms Rowland-Smith said.

Other features include a combined lounge/dining area, that opens to the outdoor living space, high ceilings, timber floors, ornate ceiling roses and coloured windows.

The bedroom has an ensuite and opens to a small private courtyard with garden.

Ms Rowland-Smith said the apartment had been held by the same owner for more than 30 years.

It is due to go to auction on September 7, with a guide of $850,000-$890,000. It is open for inspection today at 12.30pm.
