Woman stabbed to death in Sydney's west, husband arrested

A woman has died after she was allegedly stabbed at a home in Sydney's west, with police arresting her husband at the scene.

Emergency services were called to the home on Harrow Road, Berala, just before 10am, following reports of a stabbing.

Five ambulance crews rushed to the scene and found a 57-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds. She was treated by paramedics but died.

Police established a crime scene at the home and arrested the woman's 62-year-old husband, taking him to Auburn police station for questioning.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information or dash cam vision to come forward and contact police or Crime Stoppers.
