Barron Trump Embarks on College Journey at NYU's Stern School of Business

Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump, has commenced his collegiate studies at New York University's Stern School of Business, as confirmed by his father in a recent video interview with the Daily Mail. This development marks a significant milestone for the 18-year-old, who graduated from Oxbridge Academy in Florida just four months ago.

The Stern School of Business, established in 1900, is renowned for its academic excellence and prestigious standing in the business education realm. Named after alumnus and benefactor Leonard N. Stern, the school offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, and executive education programs, attracting students from diverse backgrounds.

Donald Trump expressed pride in his son's academic journey, stating, "He's a very high aptitude child, but he's no longer a child. He's just passed into something beyond child-dom. He's doing great." The former president also revealed that while the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, his alma mater, was considered, Barron ultimately chose NYU's Stern School.

The decision to attend NYU places Barron in close proximity to his childhood home in Trump Tower, completed in 1983 and located just a few miles from the university's campus. It remains unclear whether he will reside on campus or at the family's Manhattan residence.

NYU's main campus, situated in the vibrant Greenwich Village area of Manhattan, is home to over 50,000 students from more than 130 countries. The university, founded in 1831 by former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Albert Gallatin, has a rich history and a motto that encourages perseverance and excellence: "Perstare et praestare."

The Stern campus, positioned near the historic Washington Square Park established in 1871, has recently implemented additional security measures. This decision comes in response to potential protests, following a brief occupation of the business school's plaza by pro-Palestinian demonstrators in the spring of 2024.

While Barron embarks on his academic journey at NYU, it's worth noting that his siblings chose a different path. Ivanka Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Donald Trump Jr. all graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, an institution founded in 1740 and home to the Wharton School of Business, established in 1881.

As Barron Trump begins this new chapter, he joins a diverse and accomplished student body at one of the world's most prestigious business schools, continuing his family's legacy of pursuing higher education in the field of business.
