Port-au-princeʼs main air-hub got back to work this winter season showing good news for the caribbean nation. The re-start of Toussaint Louverture International Airport comes after a month of no flights due to street issues in the area
The government put new rules in place; checkpoints police-patrols and help from Kenyan-led international teams are now working together to keep things safe. Still US flight rules dont allow planes until at-least 12/12/24 (which means regular trips might take more time to come back)
Medical group Doctors Without Borders also brought some good news: theyʼre back in town with half-working services. They opened up three fix-up places a small-clinic and baby-care spot — but their street-help cars stay parked for now because of past trouble with local groups
The governments statement shows big hopes for this change: “This move is part of our plan to bring back safe streets and get money flowing again“ However commercial planes might need extra-time to come back after they got shot at last month

The whole thing looks like a step-up from last month when everything was closed down. Both the air-hub and medical folks had to stop work because of rough stuff on streets but now theyre trying to get things moving again
