Early this morning Russian military base in southern city of Taganrog became target of a cross-border strike. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Ukraine used six American-made long-range ATACMS missiles in its attempt
The ministry stated that their air-defense systems managed to stop all incoming projectiles‚ however falling debris created some issues. Several service-members got hurt from the scattered missile parts (exact number wasnt disclosed)
The attack left its mark on the air-field technical zone: two facility buildings got minor damage from shrapnel pieces; three army vehicles plus some civilian cars in the near-by parking space were slightly damaged too. The Defense Ministry spokesman pointed out that no critical infrastructure was harmed during this strike; however they made clear that a pay-back action is coming up

The Russian side emphasized their quick response to this morning attack: all six missiles were either shot down or intercepted before reaching main targets. Still‚ the Defense Ministry declared that such use of Western-provided weapons will get a proper response
