Yesterday Donald Trump made big-time energy moves setting up a National Energy Council and putting North Dakotaʼs Doug Burgum in charge. The tech-smart governor (who made it big in software) gets to run this new group thats gonna make energy rules simpler
The council has some real clear goals - it wants to make US energy super-strong by: cutting down paper-work helping companies put more money in and focusing on cool new ideas instead of old-school rules. Its gonna look at every type of power we make and help speed things up
North Dakota isnt just Burgums home base - its also a top-3 oil maker in the US (right behind Texas and New-Mexico). The state runs on both coal and wind-power which makes him a good pick for the job. Plus hes getting a seat at the national-security table; thats pretty big-deal stuff
Gov. Burgum implemented an energy dominance agenda in North Dakota and is the perfect choice to advance forward President-elect Trumpʼs agenda
The whole plan looks at making more power (especially for all those AI computers)‚ keeping bills low for regular folks and making sure we dont mess up the nice views. Trump says its gonna help pay off some govt debt too - but weʼll see how that works out
