One person died in the afternoon ofshootingin Peterborough on Saturday.
According to Peterborough Police Service, one person was injured and killed in a hospital after being shot at Park Street North at around 1:30 pm.
The victim's identity was not disclosed.

"It is not considered an active shooter situation," Sgt said. Jeff Chartier on Saturday night.
Police blocked the area south of Shellbrook Street and focused on the house.
Chartier said police presences would increase in the areas of Park Street and Sherbrooke Street as the investigation continued.
