"In my school newsletter that had the ad, my mother called the number listed in the ad to let me know that the elementary school newsletter was promoting senior sports.

"The person she spoke to actually told me that we had a youth program and we should try it. My mother said yes, and she disappointed me. After the first four bowls, I was hooked.
