Immediately after 6 am on April 25, the RCMP said it had responded to a call for ammunition fired outside Moncton's Logan Lane home.
So they found Legger suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital and later died.
Another person was in the house, but he was not injured.

On June 29, an 18-year-old Monkton man was the latest person arrested in a police investigation. On the same day, the man was remanded to the Moncton District Court and charged with one murder.

Police accused He says he can't be identified. He was a minor at the time of the incident and will be released.

The other three were previously charged with one murder for the killing of Leger. They are 18-year-old Riley Robert Sheldon Phillips, 20-year-old Hunter Nash England, and 23-year-old Jerection England.
RCMP said the investigation is underway.
"Anyone who may have information on this issue will be asked to contact the RCM MCU or Crimestoppers," police said in the release.
"RCMP would like to thank the community for this research. Our thoughts remain with Joedin Leger's family and loved ones."
