List of closed roads in Toronto this weekend

Pride

  • Friday 10am to Monday 7am: Church Street will be closed from Dundas Street to Hayden Street. This is for the Pride Toronto Street Fair.
  • On Fridays from 7 pm to 9:30 pm, the following closures will take place for vehicle traffic. Church Street from Blower Street East to Hayden Street. Blower Street East from the church to Younge Street. Youngge from Blower to Carlton Street. Carlton from Younge to Jarvis Street. This is for the Transpride March.
  • Saturday from 2pm to 5pm: Church Street from Blood Street East to Hayden Street. Blower from church to Younge Street. Youngge from Blower to Carlton Street. Carlton from Younge to Jarvis. This is for Dyke March.
  • Sunday 7am to noon: Wellsley Street from Jarvis Street to Queen's Park Crescent East and Queen's Park from College Street to Blower Street West. This is for Pride and Remembrance Runs.
  • 8 am-6pm Sunday: Rosedale Valley Road from Bayviewer Venue to Park Road. This is to promote the formation of the pride parade.
  • 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday: Church Street from Hayden Street to Blower Street East. Park Road from Rosedale Valley Road to Blower. This is also to facilitate the formation of the parade.
  • Sundays from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm: From Blood Street East to Yonge Street to Ted Rogers Way. Youngge from Blower to Queen Street. Dandas Street East from Younge to Church Street. Victoria Street from Dandas to Shooter Street. This is for the pride parade.

  • From Saturday to Monday at 5am: Queen's Park from Wellsley Street West to Blower Street West will be closed to TD Jazz Festival vehicles.
  • Friday 7am to Monday 3am: Due to the Fairbank Summerfest, Eglinton Avenue West from Ronald Avenue to Duffalin Street will be closed.
  • I Heart Market Street activity means that Market Street will also be closed from Front Street East to Esplanade.

Construction

  • The north and south lanes of Yonghe Road from Esplanade to Lakeshore Boulevard continue to be closed due to the ongoing construction of the bridge.
  • Milliken Boulevard between McNicoll Avenue and 107 Milliken Boulevard. It will continue to be closed due to maintenance of the Trans Northern pipeline.
  • 10 pm to Saturday to 10 am Sunday: Highway 401 Markham Road will be closed due to the demolition of the bridge.
  • Jarvis Street from Carlton Street to Blower Street East has been reduced to one lane in each direction for maintenance.
  • Wellsley Street East from Ontario Street to Sherborne Street has been reduced to one lane facing west due to a reconstruction project.
  • Wellington Street from Yonge Street to Church Street has also been reduced to one westbound lane for TTC and sidewalk work.
  • Saturday 7am-7pm: Gerald Street will be closed from University Avenue to Elizabeth Street due to maintenance of the Sick Kids building.
  • The Queen's Way between Parkside Drive and Ron Subaru's Avenue will be reduced to at least one shared lane in each direction. King Street West is also closed at the intersection.
  • The Lakeshore Boulevard between Simcoe Street and Bay Street will be reduced to one westbound lane as the crew replaces the gas mains.
  • North-south access from Lake Shore Boulevard to Simcoe Street is restricted to right turns only. The east and west lakeshores of Simcoe are also restricted to turning right. Due to the gas main replacement project, Lakeshore East will be reduced to one lane from Spadina Avenue to Reese Street from 6am Saturday to 6am Sunday.
  • The Shepherd Avenue West Bridge over Highway 404 has been reduced to two lanes in each direction due to the bridge's rehabilitation project.
