The Chicago Bears are signing veteran kicker Michael Badgley, his agent said Saturday.
Starting kicker Cairo Santos missed practice on Thursday and Friday for personal reasons and is listed as questionable on the injury report.

Badgley, 27, could get the nod Sunday when the Bears (2-1) visit the New York Giants (2-1) in East Rutherford, N.J.
Badgley grew up in Summit, N.J., about 30 minutes away from MetLife Stadium.
He has converted 70 of 87 field-goal attempts and 122 of 127 extra-point tries in 47 games with the Los Angeles Chargers (2018-20), Indianapolis Colts (2021) and Tennessee Titans (2021).
