CALGARY — An Alberta man hopes for answers as state police watchdogs investigate the death of his son in RCMP custody in June.

Addison Hartzler, aged 30, was found dead in his RCMP holding cell in Grande, Alta on June 3. Then enter the house where he was staying.

Greg Hertzler says police did not call paramedics or see a doctor despite the fact his son was acting psychotic and delusional

The incident was being investigated by the RCMP, but Hartzler says it was fighting to get the Alberta Critical Incident Response Team to see the incident.

He was only informed Wednesday that ASIRT had taken over the investigation as of his August 9th. Don't let your parents go through a similar experience.
