An alleged robber faces charges after a hold-up spree in which a bandit targeted nine banks.

Daniel Clatney, 59, was out on a release order, according to Toronto Police, when officers arrested him Monday in connection with a series of armed bank robberies.

Officers responded to nine heists in Toronto between Nov. 4, 2022 and Feb. 2.

The bandit typically entered a bank, approached a teller, demanded cash and indicated he was armed with a gun.

Clatney faces a slew of charges including robbery with a firearm and failing to comply with a release order.

He appeared in court Feb. 7.
