The Los Angeles Angels signed a contract with infielder Jonathan Villar and added him to the active roster on Saturday.

Biller's terms and conditions released by the Cubs on Wednesday after Chicago designated him on a mission on June 24 were not disclosed. He moved to Triple A Salt Lake and moved right-handed Archie Bradley to the 60-day injured list. Bradley suffered a broken right elbow while overcoming the Dougout railing during the team's close quarters battle with the Seattle Mariners on Sunday.

Biller (31 years old) hit .222 with 2 home runs and 15 RBIs in 46 games against the Cubs this season.

He has an average career of .256 for 10 seasons with 7 teams. He has 100 home runs, 340 RBIs and 238 stolen bases in 1,019 games.

Biller led the major with 62 steals in 2016 for Milwaukee Brewers. He played shortstop (392 career start), second base (335) and third base (144).

27-year-old Tyce won 0-2 in two strikeouts this season in Los Angeles.

Bradley, 29, was 0-1 and recorded 4.82 ERA in 21 relief appearances with the Angels this season.
