Anne Heche remains in critical condition as police continue to investigate her car crash

Anne Heche has been in critical condition since crashing a car into her Los Angeles residence on Friday, according to the actress's new agent.

"Over the weekend, officials said Ann's condition was stable, but the information was inaccurate. She was in critical condition after the accident and had fallen into a coma. Meanwhile, a female friend whose home was destroyed in the crash says she "just escaped physical harm."

Lynn Michelle was inside her home where Heche crashed and caught fire, officials told her CNN. Neighbors John and Jennifer Durand started aGoFundMe to help Michelle rebuild her life.

In a description of thefundraiser, the Durands say Michelle lost everything except her "broken and sentimental belongings."

"Lynn lives with her beautiful puppies, Bree and Louvain, and her turtle, Marley, at her Vista home, but this week, a car crashed into her house at high speed and her house was destroyed. It caught fire and destroyed the house,” GoFundMe said. "We are very grateful that Lynn and her family narrowly escaped physical harm. However, the house was completely burnt."

Another neighbor of Michelle Roy Morgen told CNN affiliate KCAL/KCBS that Heche's car stopped "about two feet away from where she was sitting."

"She was pretty lucky," Morgen said of Michelle. "She is in shock...it hasn't hit her yet. Nothing is left in the house. Everything is ruined."
