Arrest warrant issued for man suspected of firing BB gun near Jewish general

Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Montreal Police Department are seeking help from the public to locate Menachem Mendel Cohen.

Investigators from the Western Division of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Montreal Police Department called Menachem Mendel to determine his Cohen's whereabouts. We are asking for the cooperation of the general public. An arrest warrant has been issued for a 26-year-old man on suspicion of possession of counterfeit firearms and mischief.

Cohen is said to have turned up at Jewish General Hospital and pulled out a BB gun. says he's been in the hospital. Police arrived after calling 911 around 6:30 p.m., but the suspect had already left the premises.

Half an hour later, someone opened fire on a house on Carlton Avenue, near the hospital in Notre-Dame-de-Glase, Côte des Neiges. A BB gun bullet was found at the scene. Surveillance video and interviews with witnesses confirmed that the suspect was the same in both incidents, and neither resulted in any injuries. m) white male with blue eyes and dyed blond hair. He was wearing his blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on his shirt.
