Police were alerted to a shooting in the 400 block on 12th Street early in the morning of January 2nd.
"Multiple shots were fired at (a) the residence and the suspect fled the scene," said New Westminster Police Sergeant. Released by Justin Tom.
No one was injured. After months of investigation by the Major Crimes Unit, it has been confirmed that two suspects have been arrested.
Justin Crowchild, 40, and Danica Ulmer, 43, both New Westminster, have been charged with attempted murder with a weapon. both are in custody.
"Attempts to take someone's life are a serious matter, and bringing those responsible to justice is always a major goal of violent crime," Tom said.
