The heavy snow is expected to fall through the night, creating hazardous driving conditions. It has been created by a Pacific frontal system that has stalled over the B.C. Interior meeting with cold arctic air.

“Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.”
