The 22-year-old was barefoot and wearing a traditional outfit covered in colourful feathers when she walked up to the microphone stand, according to the Daily Mail.
It happened after Granados reached for the mic to speak to the crowd. She was shocked and fell back, holding her hand.
She tried to let go but couldn’t and she fell backwards on the stage in front of the stunned crowd as the MC freaked out.
Granados was lying on her back and managed to separate the microphone and wire to get it off her before several pageant workers raced to her side and helped her walk off the stage, according to the report.
Granados was lucky to only walk away with a burn on her hand.
She even got back on stage to cheers and said later on social media: “I came backed recharged, literally.”
