Madrid — US President Joe Biden said Thursday that he would meet the Saudi king and prince during his visit to Saudi Arabia next month, but the purpose of his trip was to pressure them to increase oil production. It wasn't about playing.
At a press conference in Spain, when asked if Saudi leaders would ask to increase oil production, Biden replied "no." He said all Gulf countries, not Saudi Arabia in particular, should generally increase oil production.
