Twice in the past month, Balarama Holness has been asked to change the name of a new political party.
The former Montreal mayoral candidate hopes to do some damage with his party, Bloc His Montreal, in the upcoming state elections.
Now, the federal political party Bloc Quebec has filed an official complaint against the name.
"Their claims are baseless. They have no merit," Holness told Global News. It was called Movement Quebec.
However, Holness was ordered to change the name of the party in the Quebec elections after Mouvement Quebec Francais complained about possible public confusion. He decided on Brock Montreal and now Brock Quebec is officially vying for the name.

In a letter to the Quebec Electoral Office, Johannes Deschamps, leader of Bloc Quebec, said that certain electorates would not allow Holness' party to be affiliated with their own party. have expressed concern that they may believe that
"Therefore, in the interest of clarity and consistency, I ask, on behalf of Bloc Quebec, not to allow the use of this name by this new political party," Deschamps wrote.
Holness argues that there is no way people could confuse the two because the two beliefs are completely different.

Bloc Québécois defends French and wants independence for Quebec, while Holness promotes bilingualism and wants an English-speaking vote.
