TORONTO — Niagara Regional Police investigated more than 50 people An example of a PET bottle containing an "unknown yellow liquid" being thrown into the property of a resident.
They say the incident was reported throughout the Niagara region from mid-May to early July.
According to police, residents wake up to bottles in their property, sometimes in the backyard, usually without damage or theft.
They say the bottle could be part of a criminal review technique to determine if a homeowner exists.
Some bottles have been forensically examined by detectives and found to be non-volatile, but police are asking residents not to touch them until police can handle them. ..
