Atlantic Braves starlight fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. returns from absenteeism in four games against host Cincinnati Reds at the series opener on Friday.
Acuna, 24, is listed as a Braves designated hitter and hits the bat in the lead-off position.
He rejoined the Defending World Series Champion in Philadelphia, but did not play after being treated for his left leg injured in Atlanta earlier this week.
Acuna fouled the pitch in three innings of his home game with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday and left after eight innings.
Named after Thursday's third All-Star game, Acuna won .281 in 43 games this season with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs, 28 runs and 13 thefts. I'm hitting.
