According to sources, members of the Organizing Committee will meet during a planned "hurry" meeting on Tuesday night to expel Brown.
OTTAWA – Patrick Brown has been kicked out of the Conservative Party. The National Post, a leadership race organized by the Leadership Election Organizing Committee (LEOC), has learned.
Conservative sources said LEOC members met during a "hurry" planned meeting on Tuesday night to discuss whether to drive Brown out of the race. I told the National Post.
Sources have been granted anonymity to discuss issues within the party.
According to a number of his own campaigns, Brown sold the second highest membership during the race. This is about 150,000.
His departure leaves Conservatives Pierre Polyevre, Leslin Lewis, and Scott H. Son, along with former Premier of Quebec Jean-Chareste and former Ontario MP Roman Baber.
