How do I reserve a parking lot on Lake Buntzen?
Anyone driving to Lake Buntzen can visitbchydro.com/buntzento book a spot the day before their planned visit. Reservations start at 12:00 am the day before, so if you book a spot on Saturday, for example, you can book the spot after 12:00 am on Friday.
How much does it cost?
There is nothing. The reservation system is free to use.
What should I do when I get there?
Visitors will need a digital or printed copy of the reservation upon entering the site and will provide staff with proof of the reservation. Anyone trying to access the parking lot without a reservation will be denied.
Can I book a spot for the day?
Yes. When booking parking, users have three options: morning, afternoon, or all day. The reservation is connected to the vehicle license plate and is not transferable.
What if I book a spot but need to cancel it? You can cancel a spot using the same booking system at
bchydro.com/buntzen.
What if I'm on the road or cycling to Lake Buntzen?
There is no change for those arriving by other means of transportation. Visitors entering the park in transit or on foot do not need a pass.
How long will the system be installed?
The parking reservation system is a pilot project that runs from June 27th to September 5th.
