Layla Travers, 14, and Kaiden Vanderveen, 16, have been missing since midnight Monday and are new to the city
The Burnaby RCMP is searching for two missing teens.
According to a press release, 14-year-old Layla Travers and 16-year-old Kaiden Vanderveen were last seen at midnight on Monday in the 7000-block of 14th Avenue.

Police said both youth are new to Burnaby and are unfamiliar with the surrounding areas. The families of both youths are concerned for their well-being and are unable to reach them.
Layla is a Caucasian female, 5’7″, 140 pounds with short blond/brown hair. She was last seen wearing a grey sweater and black track pants.
Kaiden is a Caucasian male, 5’9” and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red sweater with black pants and red shoes.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen Layla and Kaiden or have information on their whereabouts to call the Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999 — or to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
