Los Cabos, Mexico — Canada's Felix Auger-Aliassime just missed out on Friday's Los Cabos Open final by a win.

Montreal's Auger-Aliassime lost to Cameron Norry in the semi-finals, where he lost 4-6 6-3 3-6.

The top-ranked Canadian on the ATP circuit, he has hit 17 aces compared to Norrie's two. However, it was Norrie who came back strong in the final set despite losing momentum by losing the second set. His third seed in the

tournament, Norry will face world number one Daniil Medvedev in the upcoming final.

Second seed Auger-Aliassime received a bye in his round of 16. He defeated Alex Hernandez and Steve his Johnson in straight sets to advance to the semifinals.

The 21-year-old Auger-Aliassime next competes in his Open National at his bank in Montreal on August 10th.
