ZURICH — CANADA WINS HER 2023 WOMEN'S HOCKEY Hold a world championship.
The International Ice Hockey Federation has awarded next year's tournament to Canada and the 2024 championship to the United States, the IIHF said in a newsletter "Ice Times" published Monday. Confirmed with

The 2022 Women's Championships will be held for the first time in the same calendar year as the Olympic Games and will be held from 25 August to 4 September in Herning and Frederiksshavn, Denmark.
Defending her champion Canada is currently in Calgary training and selection camp.
Calgary became the host city for her 2021 Women's Championship in August after her April tournament was canceled in Nova Scotia due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Halifax and Truro, New South Wales were also hosts to the 2020 Championship, which was canceled due to the pandemic.
